Porton Science Park provides a platform for Science and Technology to innovate in an environment that welcomes and supports new business start ups.
Working in partnership with Wiltshire council and DSTL (the Ministry of Defence’s Defence and Science Technology Laboratory), who are an existing customer, Shenton Group were asked to provide a 500kVA standby rental generator with bespoke panel and cables.
Project Overview
Commencing in 2021, the generator has been on site for 3 years. This was a multi-stage project with additional requirements for a further 500kVA generator.
Due to the consistency and importance of the power supply needed for this building, a standby generator was supplied on a long-term hire agreement to support ensure any power outages are avoided.
Outcome
Shenton Group provided a 500kVA standby rental generator with bespoke panel and cable. Included with the hire is 24/7 remote monitoring due to the critical application of this generator.
