Shenton Group supplied and installed a standby generator at my Company HQ and have been responsible for maintenance and refuelling. The service received has been excellent since the outset, both in terms of planned works and emergency repairs, the engineers have been reliable and effective, and all of the Shenton Group team have worked well with other contractors.
I have been using Shenton for over 5 years now, they were brought on board to initially diagnose a small fault at our data centre in South London and now they supply, install, service and load bank our entire generator estate. Their knowledge in the backup power space is second to none and despite growing rapidly, they still maintain the family-business feel and quality. The back-office staff are professional, their project managers are diligent and their management team are super responsive. I genuinely can’t recommend them enough and I’m happy to be contacted for verbal references. Keep up the good work!

Shenton are very reliable, we often see many different engineers with them being a much larger company, but they are all very friendly and professional, we are very confident in their support. The engineers representing their company are always highly professional, capable and a pleasure to be around.  I have regular contact with Teri Phillimore (Service Co-ordinator). She is always polite and has excellent organisational skills. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she has always been able to find answers to our queries. Paperwork is always quick to be sent through and is also very detailed. I have had no problems arranging visits at our convenience and find that they are flexible to accommodate our needs. Shenton Group make our custom feel valued and I have no negative feedback.

Hi Julie, Thank you for your help today.  This is the first time we’ve had a problem with our generator and I was reassured by the quick response.
Your Engineer was on time and he called me directly for accurate location details. He was well mannered, informative and didn’t waste any time so he was done collecting data and completed his minor service works quickly so allowing me to undertake the monthly test without too long a delay. All in all this was a good experience so please keep this up on future visits…

I just wanted to send an email with the feedback from attendees for the Combined Heat & Power CPD yesterday. Good afternoon Terry, I just wanted to pay you an email to give out thanks for the work yourself and Shenton have done with regards to Saturday’s UPS install here at ***********. The Saturday works went ahead as planned and on schedule at 7am our side and by 8am Dan, Callum & Vic had the previous system powered down and were well on their way to physically removing the system from site.  We ourselves were onsite until 10:30pm to remediate some IT issues but in terms of the install, planning and logistics we were completed for 18:00. Again I’d like to thank yourself, Ken and the chaps for a smooth delivery.
Can I also pass on my thanks to your team involved in the installation project? They were extremely professional, effective and focussed throughout. It is a pleasure working with such a conscientious and capable team.
Good to put a face to the name yesterday and well done on the successful commissioning of the CHP at *******************. Firstly, I want to say how excellent Sean your engineer was and the due-diligence and proactive approach really is a credit to your company and a breath of fresh air compared to how these things normally go! The meticulous planning you carried out prior to day one meant that all staff in the clinical and non-clinical areas have been kept fully informed and supported throughout each weekend. Staff have reported to me that where they have had questions they have been answered fully and that during each Friday switch to temporary generators and then Monday back to the mains supply they were pleased that someone would come round regularly and check all was well. Your patience and professionalism with the staff has been much appreciated and sets the bar high for future project teams on our site. Matt and I have also enjoyed working with you all and want to thank you for your collaborative and reactive approach throughout the ******* project which has made it a great success. The load bank testing, G59 and synchronizing setting up and overall commissioning of the set in conjunction with the L.V. Panel manufacturer was again undertaken in a very professional manner that minimised the actual weekend period to test…The overall performance by Shenton on all aspects has been very good and we would certainly look to future work on any forthcoming projects.

As a quality care provider, we have a duty to our residents, many of whom are vulnerable, to ensure their safety and security. Subsequently, we are required to have business continuity plans in place which also includes for the continuation of power. We started to use Power Call as an emergency generator provider approximately 6 years ago. Each year we have increased the number of our care homes covered to its current level of over 80. We have a further phase of 30 installations planned for the new year. In summary, Power Call provide an excellent service – both on a planned and reactive basis. The contracted response time is 4 hours but Power Call usually have had generators to site, connected and loaded in an average time closer to 2 hours… …I see the service as an ‘Insurance’, it may or may not be needed but when it is needed it is a comfort to know that Power Call respond well and provide an excellent service.

I would like to formally record my utmost satisfaction regarding the installation of the UPS at Lossiemouth. From the initial planning stages to the meticulous inspection prior to leaving site, the contractor you selected has provided excellent service. The installation meets all of our needs and has been planned, and installed in such a way that the disruption to the training service and revenue has been minimised. Equally, the manner in which the installation was completed and the attitude of the contractor and his employees to the task has been beyond reproach. It has been a pleasure to have them on site. Finally, special mention should go to Marcus Dodsworth for the efficient and professional service he has provided. I know working on MOD sites can be a bit tricky at times, with regulations, passes etc but a no times did this phase them.
