Annual Supplier Event Cements Continuous Power Specialist as Technical Leader
As the UK’s energy sector strives to incorporate alternative power supplies to National Grid electricity, shentongroup cements its position as the UK’s leading technical experts in Standby Power, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, and Combined Heat and Power Systems with its inaugural Annual Supplier Event.
With more and more organisations seeking to protect themselves from ever-unstable National Grid power supplies, the UK’s energy sector continues to pursue greener, cheaper energy supplies. The advent of the new EPSRC National Centre for Energy Systems Integration at Newcastle University this week further enforces how the country is looking for flexible smart infrastructure which promotes energy security, whilst assisting the UK in meeting its carbon targets.
Confirming its position as a leading force in this increasingly dynamic energy market, Andover-based shentongroup celebrates the success of its inaugural Annual Supplier Event that brought together teams of expert suppliers from across the standby power, uninterruptible power supply and combined heat and power sectors. Taking place at it’s Andover headquarters, key shentongroup suppliers networked and took part in presentations that centred on their common goals and how working consistently and expertly with shentongroup will provide an even better service to clients, thus further benefitting all parties involved.
shentongroup Managing Director, Jody Meek comments: “Our first Annual Supplier Event was frankly a huge success. It brought together what we believe to be some of the greatest talent from across the industry to share our experiences, common visions and goals”. Jody added: “As shentongroup continues to increase its market share, we sought to celebrate and enforce the fact that our suppliers are extremely important to us in delivering industry-leading products and services. We all have a shared goal and by working together closer, harder and smarter, we will all benefit together, delivering even better services to an increasingly larger and more satisfied customer-base”.
The Annual Supplier Event started with experts and suppliers networking in shentongroup’s all-new Globe staff area and moved to conferencing rooms for presentations by shentongroup management and key suppliers. shentongroup Technical Director, Derek Barry, examined some of the practices that leverage the company above many of its competitors and this included how shentongroup will often require extremely detailed documentation from its suppliers in order to deliver the most accurate and detailed specifications, something that is imperative for successful project delivery, and of course, highly satisfied customers.
