Reigate Data Centre has peace of mind thanks to shentongroup

For this project we needed to place two generators in one acoustic plant room enclosure for a Data Centre in Reigate.  This was no problem whatsoever for our installation team at shentongroup led by Terry Catlin (Project Manager), we are used to providing whatever our clients ask for.

It was the one single thing that I could worry about the least (apart from where to find the fuel gauge!).  It was easy to deal with you, the generator was delivered on time, a lovely piece of kit, worked perfectly, was collected on time etc.

Your Engineer was on time and he called me directly for accurate location details. He was well mannered, informative and didn’t waste any time so he was done collecting data and completed his minor service works quickly so allowing me to undertake the monthly test without too long a delay.

All in all this was a good experience so please keep this up on future visits…

I just wanted to send an email with the feedback from attendees for the Combined Heat & Power CPD yesterday.

Staff have said it was an excellent example of what a CPD session should be (by all accounts they have had some rather poor one’s in the past) and they asked me to feed this back to you and the presenters. Many thanks for the informative session :-)

Good afternoon Terry,

I just wanted to pay you an email to give out thanks for the work yourself and Shenton have done with regards to Saturday’s UPS install here at ***********.

The Saturday works went ahead as planned and on schedule at 7am our side and by 8am Dan, Callum & Vic had the previous system powered down and were well on their way to physically removing the system from site. 

We ourselves were onsite until 10:30pm to remediate some IT issues but in terms of the install, planning and logistics we were completed for 18:00. Again I’d like to thank yourself, Ken and the chaps for a smooth delivery.
